Korntved, Gladys (14 MAR 1895 – 24 JAN 1975)

Mrs. John (Gladys) E. Korntved, 79, of 105 Wendel Street, Spencer, died at 6:30 p.m. January 24, 1975 at the Marshfield Convalescent Center.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 28 at the Rux Funeral Home, with burial in the West Spencer Cemetery. The Rev. William Ruhbusch officiated at the services.

The former Gladys Burnett was born March 14, 1895 in Milwaukee. She received her education in the Unity (Clark Co. Wis.) area. She was married to John Korntved on April 29, 1914 at Unity, Wisconsin. They farmed in the Unity area and then moved to Spencer in 1943, where they resided until the present time.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Glenn, Milwaukee, one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Cychosz, West Allis, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
