George Meier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Meier of this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Renata Bramm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Bramm of the town of Reitbrock, Marathon Co., were united in marriage at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Athens, Tuesday, Dec. 9th, 1913, Rev. Knuf performing the ceremony. After the ceremony the young couple and invited guests gathered at the home of the bride’s parents and properly celebrated the event. They arrived in this city last Thursday, and visited with George’s parents until Saturday, when they departed for Wausau, where they will reside both, at present, employed at the county hospital.
