Goetz, Anna (26 MAR 1913)

The marriage of Miss Anna Goetz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Goetz of Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis., to Gorham Cody of this city, took place Wednesday afternoon March 26, 1913, at two o’clock in the Evangelical Church at Dorchester, the Rev. A. Janke officiating. The ceremony was given in English. The bride was dressed in a gown of pale blue messaline. She carried a beautiful bouquet of lilies of the valley among carnations and ferns. The attendants of the bridal couple were the bridesmaids, Miss Emma Goetz, sister of the bride, and Miss Bertha Ebert, of this place, and the groomsmen, John Goetz, a brother of the bride, and Ernest Schroeder, of the town of Green Grove.

The guests repaired to the home of the bride’s parents after the ceremony where they partook of an excellent wedding supper. The evening was enjoyably spent by the assembled relatives and friends who were lavish with hearty congratulations in which the Colby friends and the Phonograph also join.

They arrived her last Thursday to make their home in the upper rooms in the Biell residence.
