Birth Records for Clark County

The following is the regular monthly list of current birth certificates filed by Henry E. Rahn, Register of Deeds, for January 15, 1942 to February 15, sent by the doctor, to the Town or Village Clerk or City Health Officer where the child was born and he, in turn, sends the original certificate to the Bureau of Vital Statistics at Madison and a copy of the certificate to the Register of Deeds. The certificate of a child born in a hospital is registered in the county where the hospital is located.

The first is the name of child, the second the name of parents and then date of birth.

Hi folks. The very last name on the list was typed as Ralph Winamacki, with his parents last name as Winamaki. (Letter C missing). I listed it as it appears in the Gleaner article.

Also somewhere near the middle is Norman Lyle Johnson. Could not make our the second letter of his father's name. It could be Orneal or Oxneal with the 2nd letter crossed out. The X appears to have been typed over another letter.

Another note: As for 1941 births, they are correct. In some cases the doctors never turned in the birth certificates for months at a time.
