Lindner, Carl (30 JUN 1828 - 17 MAR 1911)

Carl Lindner died at the home of his son Fred, in the East Ward, this city, on Friday, March 17th, 1911, of senile debility, aged 82 years, 8 months and 16 days. He was born in Germany, June 30th, 1828, but date of arrival in America is not given. He has been a resident of Colby for about twenty-seven years. He leaves two sons, Fred and Charles of this city, two daughters, Mrs. Albert Hecker of Appleton, and Mrs. Gust Feind of Tomahawk, 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, to mourn his death.

The funeral was held from Zion Lutheran Church, Monday afternoon, and the remains laid to rest in Colby Cemetery beside those of his wife, who preceded him to the world beyond, Feb. 8th, 1908.
