Miller, Marion (14 APR 1862 - 18 MAR 1911)

Mrs. Joseph Miller died suddenly at her home in the town of Green Grove, Clark Co., Wis., in the early hours of Saturday morning, March 18th, 1911, of apoplexy, aged 48 years, 11 months and 4 days. Mrs. Miller was in the city with her husband Friday afternoon, and seemed to be in her usual health, but when her husband awoke in the morning he found her dead in bed, and immediately called Dr. Christofferson, who pronounced apoplexy the cause of death.

Marion Strasser was born in Lomira, Dodge Co., Wis., April 14th, 1862, and grew to womanhood in that part of the state. In June, about twenty-seven years ago, she came to Colby to live with her sister, Mrs. Peter Beyerl, and in January, the following year, was united in marriage to Joseph Miller who, with the children, survive to mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife and mother.

The funeral was held from St. Mary’s Church in this city, Tuesday morning, conducted by Rev. H.J. Artman, and the large attendance from her home town gave proof of the high esteem in which she was held by her neighbors and friends. The burial took place at the Catholic Cemetery.
