Kulig, Albert H. (16 APR 1886 - 27 JAN 1946)

THORP, Clark Co., Wis. - Dr. A.H. Kulig, 59, a physician at Thorp the past 18 years, died suddenly Sunday morning, the result of a heart attack. He was stricken while attending the 8 o’clock mass at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, and was taken to his home where he died at 11 o’clock.

The body is lying in state at the Thorp Funeral Home, and the Requiem High Msss will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 o’clock at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. The Rev. A.W. Muckerheide will have charge of the services, and burial will be made at Thorp (St. Bernard’s Cemetery).

Dr. Kulig was born in Independence April 16, 1886. He is survived by his wife, the former Agnes Budnick; three daughters, Lt. Irene Kulig of the Army Nurse Corps, stationed in Texas; Mrs. Ruth Pond, Suffolk, Va.; and Miss Gertrude Kulig, student at the University of Minnesota; two brothers, John and Paul Kulig, both of Independence; and a sister, Mrs. George Sobath, Arcadia.
