Adams, Larry L. (6 Feb. 1944 - 24 July 1982)

LARRY L ADAMS, age 38, collapsed at his Rt.3, Neillsville home on Saturday, July 24, 1982 and was pronounced dead on arrival at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. The cause of death was unknown at Press time; an autopsy was ordered.

Funeral services for Adams were held on Tuesday afternoon, July 27, from Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Globe with the Rev. Ralph Stuebs officiating. The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville was in charge of the arrangements.

Larry Adams was born on February 6, 1944, in Neillsville to Elmer and Hazel (Brown) Adams. He attended local schools, graduating from Neillsville High School in 1963. He then held various jobs. On December 10, 1966 he married Lana Mitte in Globe ceremonies. Adams then drove trucks for several companies and at the time of his death he was employed by Trucker Ron’s near Fairchild. He was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church at Globe.

Surviving him is his wife and their three children, Leslie, Lynnea and Lanell all at home; his parents of Neillsville; four sisters, Mrs. Duane (Rhoena) Marg of Granton, and Mrs. Andrew (Nancy) Ruzeck, Mrs. Dennis (Bonnie) Kuechenmeister and Mrs. John (Barbara) Walk, all of Neillsville; and a brother, Wilbert of Greenwood.

Preceding him in death was a brother in infancy.

Adams had been suffering from cancer for the past few months.
