Krause, Helen (10 AUG 1935)

At a ceremony performed Saturday afternoon, Aug. 10th, 1935, at 2 o’clock, by Rev. James Irish, at the Methodist Parsonage, Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., Miss Helen Krause, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Krause, 401 N. Ash St., Marshfield, became the bride of Charles Dawson, son of Mrs. Mary Dawson, 310 W. Blodgett St., Marshfield, Wis.

Attending the couple were the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Leighton Herrick of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.).

For the occasion Miss Krause chose a suit of navy blue sheer silk, with light blue taffeta trim, and matching accessories. Sweet peas were worn as a shoulder bouquet.

Immediately after the ceremony the bridal party was entertained at the Herrick home, where a 6 o’clock dinner was served. A color scheme of blue and white was used to decorate at the residence.
