Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Osowski, well known couple, residing southeast of the village, observed their golden wedding jubilee on Saturday last.

A High Mass was sung at the St. Hedwig’s Church by F.A. Kulig at 8:30 a.m., being attended by members of the family.

Mr. and Mrs. Osowski were born and married in Lubichowo, Germany (now Poland). They came to America in the year 1887, settling in Milwaukee. In the year 1905 they moved to Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., where they have since resided. Their marriage was blessed with twelve children, six sons and two daughters. The sons are Vincent of Thorp, Frank of Milwaukee, Peter (deceased), Louis of Ottawa, Ill., Casimer and John of Thorp. The daughters are Helen (Mrs. A. Kotecki) of Milwaukee, Mary (Mrs. F. Donash) of Chicago, Clara of Thorp, Ida (Mrs. F. Piekarz (deceased) and Anna of Thorp. They have twenty-eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

On Saturday a reception was held at their farm home to their many relatives and friends, who wish them many years of added happiness.
