On Saturday morning, Oct. 6, 1934, at 10:00 at St. Hedwig’s Church, Rev. F.A. Kulig, in a very pretty ceremony, joined in holy bonds of matrimony, Miss Helen Kowieski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kowieski, and Mr. Stanley Skrzypek of Chicago, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Skrzypek of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.

The bride was attired in a colonial style gown of white satin with a bridal veil 6 yards long and 3 yards wide, and a train 5 yards long. The groom was dressed in formal attire.

Miss Florence Kowieski, cousin of the bride, was first maid of honor and Mr. Frank Skrzypek, brother of the groom, was best man. The second couple was Mr. Mike Kowieski, brother of the bride, and Miss Olive Sczygiel, of Chicago. The third couple was Frank Kowieski, brother of the bride, and Miss Helen Grygiel, also of Chicago. The fourth couple was Paul Kowieski, brother of the bride, and Miss Rose Krych, Thorp. The bridesmaids wore pretty gowns of peach colored taffeta and brown velvet hats and brown pumps. They carried bouquets of yellow chrysanthemums.

The bride’s father gave the bride away. Little Kazmier Jarocki carried the ring on a heart-shaped pillow, and Geraldine Czarnicki carried the bride’s beautiful colonial bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley.

After the ceremony with rice throwing, etc., the wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents to a host of about 350 guests. The gay festivities were continued with dancing, a bride’s dance at 9:30 o’clock, luncheon at twelve, the passing of the wedding cake, and further dancing until nearly three o’clock in the morning.

The newly married couple will reside in Logan Square, Chicago, where the groom is employed. They have the well wishes of a great host of friends who wish them success and happiness.

Out of town guests in attendance were: Mr. and Mrs. Nick Kowieski and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kowieski and family, Mr. and Mrs. E. Ginger, Leonard Ginger, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Juskiewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Piatek, Mr. and Mrs. Al Warsielsewsi, Mrs. Joe Czarnicki and daughter Geraldine, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Moscinski, Mr. Rozinski, Mr. Tyler, Misses Helen Grygiel, Olive Sczygiel, Amelia Grabowski, all of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Trybowski, Jack Trybowski, Mrs. Bujalski and Mr. Klugewicz of Stanley.
