Weaver, Sarah (7 July 1866 - 9 March 1939)

Chili - Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Immanuel Evangelical Church for Mrs. Sarah Weaver, 72, who died early Thursday at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weaver, after a prolonged illness.

The Rev. E. P. Manley, local pastor, will officiate, and will also conduct a service at the Henry Weaver home at 1 o’clock. Burial will be made in the Nasonville Cemetery.

Mrs. Weaver, the former Sarah Fugar, was born in Will County, Ill., on July 7, 1866, and was married at Pontiac, Ill., on Dec. 5, 1893, to David S. Weaver of White County, Ind., who preceded her in death on August 25, 1936.

Surviving are two sons, Louis who lives in the town of Rock on the farm which the Weavers built up from a tract of wild land, and Henry, two brothers, John and Sam Fugar, both in Illinois; and a sister, Hannah, in Michigan and one grandchild. A son, Clarence died in 1920.
