Peter Decker, 83, of Dorchester for the past 30 years died at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital Marshfield Born in Belgium May 10, 1871 came to US with parents as a child, settled near Appleton where he lived until he married Cresence Hiegel in Appleton in 1898. In 1906 the couple came to this area and settled on a farm 3 1/2 miles NW of the village. Surviving children are George, Dorchester; Theresa Goessl, Curtiss; Marion Forslund, Menasha; Olivia Pinter, Abbotsford; Charlotte, Frank, Rose, Matilda and Clarence at home. A brother John, International Fall, Minn and three sisters Mrs. John Leisen, Appleton; Mrs. Richard Stelvenberg, Muskegon, Michigan and Mrs. Frank Engel, Dorchester also survive.
