Eggerbrecht, Hannah (23 April 1863 -15 Aug. 1935)

Mrs. Louis Eggerbrecht passed away at her home in this city Thursday, Aug. 15, after a long illness.

Hannah Luck was born in Pomerin, Germany, April 23, 1863. In October, 1882 she came to America with her parents who settled at Waukesha. Here she grew to womanhood and on June 6, 1886 was married to Louis Eggerbrecht. They came to Clark County the next year and settled on a farm in Levis. Selling this place they moved to a farm in Pine Valley in 1893. In 1911 they sold this place and moved back to Waukesha, where they will till 1923, when they came back to Neillsville, making their home here since.

Mrs. Eggerbrecht’e health had been poor for years and she suffered much but was patient and kind through it all.

Funeral services were held at St. John’s Lutheran church on Saturday, Rev. Oscar Hanneman, officiating.

She is survived by her husband, one sister in Waukesha, and two brothers, Charles and August Luck, living here.
