Franz, Evelyn (20 DEC 1906)

Albert Wiedenhoeft of the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., and Miss Evelyn Franz of Abbotsford, were married at Zion’s Lutheran Church in this city, last Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The ceremony was solemnized by Rev. Lugenheim in the presence of relatives and admiring friends. The contracting pair were attended by Misses Elsie and Meta Franz, sister and cousin of the bride, and Gust Wiedenhoeft, the groom’s brother, and Alvin R. Goldamer.

After the ceremony the happy couple, accompanied by their invited guests, repaired to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Franz in Abbotsford, where the usual wedding festivities were held. They were the recipients of many beautiful presents.

Both Evelyn and Albert are well known young people of this vicinity and have hosts of friends, the Phonograph included, who extend their very best wishes for their future happiness and prosperity. They will reside in Colby, on the Wiedenhoeft farm for the present.

Those from out of town who were here to attend the wedding were: Mrs. Wm. Bloohm, Ed Bloohm and Fred Bloohm of Oakfield; Will Bloohm of South Byron; Will Collien of Brownsville; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Keitzer of Lomira; Miss Louis Neadler and Charles Goldamer of Neillsville, Wis. They have all returned to their respective home except Fred Bloohm, who is so well pleased with the country he has decided to remain the year out.
