Van Dusen, Flora (20 FEB 1861 - 26 SEP 1907)

Died, at a hospital in Minneapolis, early Thursday morning, Sept. 26th, 1907, Mrs. O.B. Van Dusen, in the 47th year of her age.

Flora Hugoboom was born in Oshkosh, Feb. 20th, 1861, and came with her parents to Dorchester in 1875. After her marriage to Mr. Van Dusen she resided at Phillips until about three years ago when the family removed to Minneapolis to reside. She was a very energetic, hardworking lady and overtaxed her strength. She was being treated at the hospital for nervous prostration at the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her husband; two sons, Louis and Ivan; daughter Zora; aged mother, Mrs. S. Hugoboom, Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis.; sister, Mrs. E.L. Swarthout, this city; brother, Ray Hugoboom, Medford, and hosts of friends here and wherever she was known.

The funeral services were held from her late residence, 509 W. 28th St., Minneapolis. The casket was covered with beautiful floral offerings from neighbors and friends which bore testimony of the high esteem they held for the departed. The remains were taken to Oshkosh, Saturday, accompanied by the family, Mrs. Swarthout and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hugoboom. The interment was in the family lot at Riverside Cemetery.
