Vande Berg, Bernice (25 JUN 1935)

Miss Bernice Vande Berg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Vande Berg of York and Mr. Oscar Egger, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.|J. Egger of Marshfield, were united in marriage Tuesday morning, June 25, at 9:30 o’clock.

The bride was gowned in a white satin and carried a lovely bouquet. She is a stenographer and has been employed in the poor relief office in Neillsville for some time.

The groom works for the state highway commission with office in Eau Claire.

The wedding occurred in the Methodist Church in York Center with Rev. A. N. Chapman as officiating clergyman. Miss Virginia Milton was the bridesmaid and Harold Vande Berg, brother of the bride was best man.

Dinner was served to about fifty guests at the home of the bride’s parents.

Both the church and home were beautifully decorated for the occasion.

Last Saturday evening a shower was given them and many nice presents were received then and also for the wedding.

After a short wedding trip they will go to Eau Claire where they will soon be at home to their friends.

The best wishes of their many friends go with them into their wedded life and newly established home.
