Sell, Gerhardt W. (8 July 1921 - 16 Oct. 1943)

Loyal - Pvt. Gerhardt W. Sell, 22, was killed in action in Sicily on Oct. 16, 1943 according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sell, Loyal.

Pvt. Sell, who was born in the Town of Beaver on July 8, 1921, lived there until he was inducted on June 30, 1942. He spent 13 ***[a portion of the obituary is cut off, will continue with what is available]**

He is survived by his parents, two sisters, Selma at home; Mrs. Adele Edmison, Cataract, Wis.; Hilbert at home; and Frederick (Fritz) at home.

Pvt. Sell spent a 6 day furlough at home in November, 1942.
