Wescott, Thomas M. (9 MAR 1868 - 10 OCT 1901)

Died, at his home in the town of Eau Pleine, Marathon Co., Wis., on Thursday, Oct. 10th, 1901, of a complication of stomach, heart and kidney trouble, Mr. Thomas M. Wescott, in the 34th year of his age.

Thomas Wescott was born in Saukville, Ozaukee Co., Wis., March 9th, 1868, and came to Marathon Co. with his parents something over twenty years ago, and has lived on the farm where he died since that time. He was united in marriage with Luella D. Cole, Nov. 11th, 1896, and she with two children, a son aged 17 months, and an infant daughter four weeks old, survive to mourn his death. He also leaves to mourn him an aged father, Mr. John Wescott, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Holmes of Gallion, Ohio.

The funeral, which was very largely attended, was held from the late residence, Saturday forenoon, and interment was in Colby Cemetery, Rev. E.G. Vischer officiating.
