Brecker, Adolph A. (31 Jan. 1896 -1962)

Owen - Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home here for Adolph A. Brecker, 65, of Owen, who died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield early Saturday morning. Brother Morehouse of Chicago will officiate and burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

The body will repose at Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home.

Mr. Brecker was born Jan. 31, 1896 in the town of Unity. He received his education in Unity schools and in Chicago. He was married Sept. 12, 1917 in the town of Green Grove to the former Jennie Pikola, who survives him. After their marriage they lived in the town of Beaver, Loyal, Stevens Point and Owen, Wis.

Other survivors are a son, Owen Brecker of Key West, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Rose) Awe, Owen and a brother, Frank Brecker, Unity.

He was preceded in death by four sisters.
