Colby - Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon for Mrs. Lillia Wiegman, 62, who died Jan. 18 at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, a few hours after she suffered a stroke at her home in Colby.

The Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiated at the service at the First Evangelical and Reformed Church and burial was made in the Green Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arnold Edblom, Walter Stecker, Arthur Braun, Irvin Klug, Bill Stark and Fritz Schoenwetter.

The former Lillie Schoenwetter was born Aug. 27, 1894, at Lowell and was married June 12, 1912, to Richard Wiegman in the Town of Green Grove, where they farmed until about 15 years ago when they moved to the city of Colby. Mr. Wiegman died Nov. 16, 1956.

Surviving are two sons, Clarence, Waukegan, Ill., and Alvin, Cicero, Ill.; two brothers, Otto Schoenwetter, Lowell, and Carl Schoenwetter, Idaho; and one grandchild.

During the funeral services, Mrs. Donald Schreiber and Mrs. Ronald Radetzky sang, "The Heart of God" and "Saved By Grace," accompanied at the organ by Miss Rena Bauer. Out-of-town relatives present included: Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wiegman, Cicero; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wiegman and daughter Judy Ann, Waukegan; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schoenwetter and son Fritz; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Klug, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stark, Mrs. Glen Weideman, Mrs. Harold Hollaty, Lowell; Mrs. Arnold Meyers and son Tom, Arthur Braun, Sheboygan; and Mrs. Bertha Schoenwetter, Tomahawk.
