Mrs. Mary Marsh, better known as grandma Marsh, was born in Newark, N.J., May 12th, 1812, and would have been 89 years old if she had lived until May 12th, next. She came to Wisconsin, with her family in 1866, locating at Portage City; in the fall of 1870, they moved to Green Bay, and came to Unity in 1874. Her husband, Asa Marsh, died 18 years ago, since which time she has lived with her son, Sidney Marsh. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Blackmer, Pound, Marinette Co., and Mrs. Edminster, Ludington, and four sons, Henry of Cable, and Sidney, Met. And Edwin of Unity. She had been in poor health for twelve years and an invalid for eight year, but has always been very patient. She leaves 29 grandchildren.
