Goutcher, Henrietta (9 April 1873 - 4 June 1952)

Unity- Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church here Saturday for Mrs. Henrietta Goutcher, 79, who died June 4 at the Clark County Hospital, Owen, Wis. The Rev. F. J. Smith officiated and interment was in the Beaver Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Goutcher and her husband operated a farm in the Town of Unity for many years. He died in 1944.

Henrietta Roth was born in Manitowoc County April 9, 1873, and was married to Edward Goutcher in May, 1889. She was the mother of 10 children, five children of whom preceded her in death.

Four sons, Edward of Pocatello, Wash., Raymond of Kimberly, Wis., Maynard of Rochester, Minn., and Alvin at home and one daughter, Mrs. Louie Scheel of Cook, Minn., 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren survive her. Also surviving are three brothers, William of Ladysmith, Fred of Billings, Mont., and John of Rapid City, S. D.
