Married, at the residence of the bride’s father, in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), at 7 o’clock, Wednesday evening, March 25th, 1896, Mr. David Hardie of Cedar, and Miss Cora E. McCarthy of this city, Rev. D. P. Olin of Spencer officiating.

The groom is one of the prominent young men of Iron County, and now holds the office of treasurer of the town of Saxon, which bears evidence that he stands well in the estimation of his neighbors.

The bride is one of the best known and most estimable young ladies of this city, having lived here from childhood, and her friends are numbered by her acquaintances, all of whom will declare that Mr. Hardie is very fortunate in securing so level headed and sensible a young lady as a life partner. She was a pupil of the city schools; a graduate of the high school and was two years a teacher of the grammar department or until she tendered her resignation on account of failing health. Her host of friends here will wish the happy couple a long and happy life and the utmost prosperity and the Phonograph seconds the motion which is carried unanimously They will make their home at Cedar.
