Mandel, Alfred E. (20 May 1901 - 25 April 2001)

Alfred E. Mandel, 99, of 814 W. 14 St., died April 25, 2001, at the Marshfield Center.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be in the town of Beaver Cemetery in Clark County.

Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Hansen Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born May 20, 1901, in the town of Beaver to David and Barbara (nee Brecker) Mandel. He was employed as a cheese maker and carpenter.

He is survived by five daughters, Elfreda Carpenter of Marshfield, Ruth Kuehmichel of Marshfield, Arla Mae Boldt of Milton, Shirley (Don) Voge of Abbotsford and June McHone of Chili; one son, Herbert (Syrl) Mandel of Janesville; 39 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
