Stucki, Irma O. (May 29, 1909-Sept. 10, 2005)

Irma O. Stucki (nee Olm), age 96, of Neillsville died Sept. 10, 2005, at the Neillsville Memorial Home.

She was born May 29, 1909 in the Town of Stratford, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Anna (Lorenz) Olm. On March 23, 1937, she was married to Henry W Stucki in Waukon, IA. She was a member of the Neillsville United Church of Christ. She worked at the former Winnebago Indian School as a girls’ matron for 10 years and was a nurses’ aide at the Memorial Hospital for 27 years.

Surviving are her two children, Erma (Ronald) Markus, of Kewaskum and John J (Judy) Stucki, of Beulah, CO; four grandchildren, Steven (Shelly) Markus; John Markus; Paul (Kendra) Stucki; Tim (Tracy) Stucki; seven great-grandchildren, Samantha, Salena and MacKenzie Markus; Dillan and Dawson Stucki; Katie and Isaac Castro.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry; two sisters, Elsie Marquardt; Frieda Hosely; one brother, Philip Olm; and one great grandson, Peter Stucki.

A memorial service for Irma will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at the United Church of Christ, Neillsville, with Rev. James Mohr officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Memorial Medical Center and Memorial Home for their special care for Irma. The Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Eau Claire is serving the family.
