Jung, William (12 MAY ???? - 22 DEC 1932)

William Jung was born in Hinzweiller, Germany, May 12, ? (year illegible) At the age of two years with his parents immigrated to the United States locating in Medford, Wis. The deceased learned the baker trade when he was 19 years old in Milwaukee.

On June 15, 1910, the deceased was united in marriage to Anna Tolzman at Redwood Falls, ?Minn. To this union were born two children. Mr. and Mrs. Jung remained in Minnesota until 1913 when they moved to Ladysmith at which place they operated a bakery and confectionery until 1931, when they moved to Loyal

On Thursday morning the deceased complained of not feeling very well, and on Saturday afternoon was stricken with a heart attack from which he passed away.

Surviving are the widow and son Norbert, a daughter Estelle passed away at Ladysmith in 19??; four brothers and one sister namely: Henry of Hines, Ill., Arthur of Fond du Lac, Herbert and Walter Theif River Falls, Minn, and Miss Mathilda of Minneapolis, Minn., other relatives and friends. A sister of the deceased, Mrs. O. Kuenne died only six weeks ago.

Funeral services were held from Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday morning. Immediately following the service the body was taken to Ladysmith for burial. Rev. H. F. Leschinsky officiating. Pall bearers were Frank Luchterhand. James Colby, Hal Voight, Joe Raab, Leo Theisen and Lawrence Knowles.

Mrs. Jung and son Norbert will continue operating the bakery here. For the past several years, Norbert has been employed by his uncles in their bakery at Thief River Falls, Minn.

The Tribune join the many friends of the deceased in sending sympathy to the bereaved family.

The deceased, who had only been in our midst a short period, had made many friends during his brief stay with us. All who were with him in his closing earthly existence marveled at the self possession, will power, courage and fortitude which he manifested.
