Miller, Theodore (8 Oct. 1908 - 29 Dec. 1990)

Owen - Theodore L. Miller, 82, Route 1, Owen, died at 8:43 a.m. Saturday in the Emergency Room of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Services were today at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, with the Rev. DuWayne Schneider officiating.

Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, North Green Grove.

Pallbearers were John Sowieja, Rick Sowieja, Jeff Decker, Jason Decker, Bruce Fell and Lynn Shattacek.

He was born Oct. 8, 1908, in the town of Green Grove to John and Lena (Horner) Miller. He married Bernice Dietrich on June 26, 1935, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Mr. Miller farmed in the town of Green Grove until retiring in 1973.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in the town of Green Grove.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. James (Vivian) Sowieja of Owen, Mrs. Arlyn (Evelyn) Decker of Slinger, Carol Miller of Owen, and Mrs. Myron (Ruth) Buss of Curtiss; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife on Jan. 1, 1988, and two brothers, Walter and Harry.
