Sternitzky, Edward (26 Aug 1877 - ? May 1968)

Funeral services were conducted for Edward Sternitzky, 90, at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, on Friday afternoon with the Rev. Roland Roehrs officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

The soloist, Mrs. Roger Helm sang "Rock of Ages" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" she was accompanied by Mrs. Leland Garbisch, organist.

Pallbearers were Lucian Moh, Henry Helm, Louis Helm, Walter Stienbach, Ernest Pusheck and Lloyd Ure.

The Gilbertson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Sternitzky was born August 26, 1877 in the town of Lynn where he had lived and farmed his entire life. His marriage to Elizabeth Hillert took place June 11, 903 in Mapleworks Lutheran Church, Granton.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Granton.

In addition to his wife, survivors are four sons, Arnold. Herbert, Edwin and Ervin all of Granton; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Moh, Granton; and Mrs. Bertha Bierwgen, Grass Valley, California; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Three sisters preceded him in death.
