Glendenning, Walter (11 Mar 1834 - 1 Jan 1919)

Walter Glendenning died at his home in the town of Cleveland, Jackson Co., Wis., on the first day of the year 1919. He was born in Rocksberryshire, Scotland, on the eleventh day of March 1834, being at the time of his death 85 years, 9 months and 22 days old. Mr. Glendenning immigrated to the U. S. in 1873, and followed the occupation of farming. He has been a resident of the town of Cleveland for many years.

The deceased was twice married, his second wife and six children, Thomas, Peter, Gidden, Hazel, Aura and Fred, surviving. The funeral was held at his late home on Monday afternoon, the sermon being preached by Rev. J. B. Braddock of Fairchild, and interment was made in the cemetery in Houghtonburg.
