O'Leary, Martha (28 Jan 1846 - 24 Dec 1914)

Mrs. Martha Hall O'Leary died at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire Thursday, Dec. 24, 1914, a few hours after an abdominal operation, aged 68 years, 10 months and 27 days. The remains were brought home that night, and burial services were held Sunday afternoon from the M. E. Church, Rev. Prucia officiating. The interment was in the Mentor Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by six children: Mrs. Della Barnes of Bangor, Mrs. Carrie Seiverts, Ione, Wash., Frank and Ora Hall of La Crosse, Mrs. Nina Squires of this place, and Mrs. Fannie Sheiffer of Cataract. Two sisters and two brothers also survive her, with numerous other relatives. For the past ten years she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. George Squires, east of town. Mrs. O'Leary was born in the east, but had lived the greater part of her life in this state. Her maiden name was Martha Scruby, and she was twice married, both husbands preceding her in death.
