Joseph G. Mamayek (March 18, 1910 - April 4, 1973)

Joseph Mamayek, 63, died suddenly of a heart attack April 4th at Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services were held at St. Francis Xavier Church on Saturday, April 7th, ten a. m. with burial being made in St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Mr. Mamayek was born March 18, 1910 at Thorp, Wisconsin. On June 12, 1923, he was married to Mary Pecka at Thorp.

Surviving are his wife Mary; three daughters Eleanor Mytych, Joyce Varas and Dorothy Mamayek, three grandchildren; one son-in-law, James Varas; one brother Frank Mamayek of Chicago; three sisters Lillian Niemiec of Chicago, Estelle Zukowski of Thorp and Agnes Mamayet of Munhall, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roch and Mary Mamayek, one brother Peter and one sister Mery Demerski.

Interment: Lot 6, blk. C, Section 54 of St. Adalbert Cemetery.
