Schneller, Emma (Marriage - 21 Jan 1908)

A pretty home wedding occurred at the home of Mrs. Anna Schneller on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, when her daughter, Miss Emma was united in marriage to Mr. John L. Almquist, Justice C. B. Travis pronouncing the words that united the young people for life's journey.

After the ceremony was performed the wedding guests partook of a fine wedding dinner, which had been prepared by the bride's mother. And in the evening a wedding party gathered at the pleasant farm home of Mrs. Schneller to extend best wishes to the bride and groom.

The bride is well known to all in this vicinity (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.), having grown to womanhood here, and her host of intimate friends and acquaintances are pleased to extend to her their heartiest congratulations. The groom, Mr. Almquist, is a comparative stranger to most of our people. He is an enterprising and progressive young farmer of Polk Co., and is also a carpenter by trade. He has just erected and furnished a fine new home on his farm in that county.

Mr. and Mrs. Almquist left on the noon train Wednesday for a short wedding trip to the Twin Cities, and from thence they go to their new home near Frederic.
