Softer, Amalia (2 APR 1876 - 11 Mar 1948)

Amalia Softer, aged 72 years, was laid to rest Monday afternoon when funeral services were conducted from the Griebenow Funeral Home and interment made in Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Alfred Smith read the final rites. She had been ill for the past several months and less than a couple of weeks ago, suffered her third stroke. She passed away at her home in the town of Hixon, Clark County, Wis. on Thursday, March 11, 1948.

Her birth place was Poland, at Warsaw, on April 2, 1876.

Pallbearers at the service were: Sven Jensen, Adam Kulik, Edwin Jacobsen, John Cieslik, John Schindler and John Stasko.
