FINAL RITES HELD FOR BELLE WOOD

Funeral services were conducted for Belle Wood, 61, from the Griebenow Funeral parlors Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, June 17. The service was conducted by Rev. J. L. J. Dixen of Withee.

Mrs. Wood had been in extremely poor health at her home for the past six months. A day or two before her passing on her condition became critical and she was taken to the Legault hospital where she succumbed Saturday, June 14, in the morning.

Belle Wood, nee Belle Munson, daughter of Mrs. S. N. Munson of Withee, was born on August 16, 1880, at Salem, Kenosha county. She lived at Salem until 1903 at which time she came to Withee, where she spent the remainder of her life.

Her passing is mourned by her husband, William; two sons, Lawrence and Minnis of Withee, and Edwin of Menomonie; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Cleo) Reese of Marshfield, and Mrs. L. C. (Mildred) Holms of Duluth; and a step son, Wallace.
