INJURIES PROVE FATAL TO DONALD BRANDT

Donald Brandt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Brandt, residing three miles south west of Withee, who was fatally injured on Wednesday morning of last week, while trying to catch a horse which was in pasture, died at St. Joseph's hospital at Chippewa Falls, at six o'clock Friday morning, two days following the accident. He never regained consciousness, so as to tell of the accident. His body was brought home that evening, and on Tuesday afternoon funeral services were held from the German Lutheran Church at Withee, of which he was member. Interment taking place in the family lot in Riverside cemetry.

Donald Brandt was twenty years of age, and gained his education in the Frenchtown and Withee schools. He was a young man of good character, always wearing a smile and was well liked by all with whom he became acquainted. Since leaving school he was assisted with the farm work at his home.

He leaves to mourn his passing……………..(the rest was unreadable).
