Merriman, Mildred (Marriage - 21 JUN 1926)

A quiet wedding was solemnized at 9 o'clock Monday morning, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Merriman, when their daughter, Mildred and Mr. Harold Crane of Manawa, Wis., were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. W. P. Powell of the Congregational Church, officiating.

Decorations were carried out in yellow and white, the bride's favorite color. Only immediate friends and relatives were present.

Miss Merriman was a graduate of the Owen High School, later taking training at the County Training School at Eau Claire, and for the past five years has been teaching in this vicinity.

Mr. Crane is the son of Dr. and Mrs. L. H. Crane of Hortonville, Wis., and for the past eight years has been employed in the Dorchester Bank, only recently moving to Manawa to take a similar position in the bank there, and is a promising young businessman.

The young couple was attended by Mr. Henry Weddig and Miss Dorothy Johnson of this city. Following the ceremony the bridal party partook of a sumptuous wedding breakfast at the Woodland Hotel. They started on their honeymoon by motor through Wisconsin and southern Illinois to visit the bride's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Merriman, and other relatives, also to her old home in Bloom, Ill.

All their friends extend good wishes and happy prospects for their future life.
