Eva (Bauer) Roadt (1892 - 1968)

SPENCER- Mrs. Albert Roadt, 75, Spencer, died of complications Sunday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jasperson Funeral Home here with J. R. Shear of the Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating. Burial will be made in the Town of Beaver Cemetery.

The body will repose at the funeral home from noon Tuesday until the time of services.

The former Eva Bauer was born December 13, 1892, at Hewitt and was married May 15, 1911, at Neillsville, to Albert Roadt.

After their marriage, the couple farmed in the town of Beaver, Clark County, for 29 years, and then in the town of McMillan, Marathon County for 14 years. For the past 15 years they had made their home in Spencer.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Elliott Hebert, Chili; and Mrs. Cecelia Chariton, Green Bay and a brother, Joseph Bauer, Cadott.

She was preceded in death by two daughters in infancy; five brothers and three sisters.
