Elizabeth (Englebretson) Krogness GREENWOOD- Funeral services for Mrs. Olaf Krogness, 723, Greenwood, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ira Tanner officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Hill Funeral Home, where it now lives in repose.

Mrs. Krogness, who was born April 11, 1886, in Norway, died on her birthday Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. She had been a patient there since suffering a stroke nine days ago. The former Elizabeth Engebretson (Englebretson) and Mr. Krogness were united in marriage here March 20, 1914, and farmed 1 ½ miles east of Greenwood. Mrs. Krogness was a member of the Women’s Guild of Our Savior’s Church.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Conrad, Stewart, and Emory, all at home, and Arthur, Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Olaf Bragstad, Milwaukee; and two brothers, James of Greenwood and Emil of Oakland, California. During the service, Mrs. Otto Voie and Miss Helen Windom sang "Strait Is The Gate To Heaven" and "I Am But A Stranger Here" accompanied by Mrs. Don Warner at the organ. The pallbearers were Lawrence Larson, Kenneth Dyre, Carl Nelson, Godfrye Dyre, Leonard Johnson, and Orville Oswald.
