James, Mrs. Edna (Marriage - Augl 1924)

A quiet wedding was solemnized Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at St. Paul, when Mrs. Edna James and Mrs. Gerald B. Spaulding were united in marriage. The young couple left here early Friday morning, driving to the city and that afternoon were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Vachon of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.), and for the past years has been employed on the Enterprise as linotype operator. She is a likeable young lady and in the years she has made Owen, Clark County her home has made a great many friends, all of who wish for her a happy wedded life.

The groom is the son of Mrs. H. E. Spaulding of Stevens Point, and for the past two years has been manager of the Idle Hour theater, which position he now holds.

After a couple of days stay in St. Paul, the young couple returned here, where they will make their home. The Enterprise joins with their friends in wishing for them the best in life's journey together.
