Isabelle Klein

Isabelle M. Klein, 88, Spencer, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. Lowell Bostad officiated. Music was provided by William Allen, soloist. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery.

Isabel M. Stelzl was born May 13, 1915 in the Town of Brighton, Marathon County, to Adolph and Ida (nee Melethin) Stelzl. She graduated from Spencer High School. She married Gerhard Klein on May 30, 1940, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. She was a mother, homemaker, and farmed with her husband. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Spencer, and a former member of the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband , Gerhard Klein, Spencer; her children, Sharon (Paul) Engstrom, Eau Claire, and Gary Klein, Spencer; and one sister, Arlene Stecker, Arpin.

Preceding her in death were one brother, Arnold Stelzl, and two sisters, Adeline and Gertrude.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name May be designated for support of the "Lutheran Hour", which airs on WDLB radio station, or the charity of choice.

The Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield, assisted the family with arrangements.
