Mrs. Ida Helwig is visiting her parents at Alma Center.

Nettie Counsell of Pleasant Ridge is visiting relatives at Alma Center

Elmer Harrington has accepted a position in the Luethe Schroeder store as clerk.

William Huntley went to Fairchild Monday on business and will be absent the entire week.

Will Dopp went to Wausau Tuesday to spend Thanksgiving with his father, brother and sister.

Mrs. Reuben Hart is reported as being very ill, having received a stroke of paralysis a short time ago.

W. L. Hemphill, wife and little daughter Sundayed with relatives in Hixton, Jackson county.

August Hartell got a couple of fingers nipped on the shaper at the furniture factory Monday.

William King fell off the sidewalk in front of Mundt’s saloon Saturday breaking his left arm. For a number of years he has been an employee of the Omaha railway and thus far has been very unfortunate, as he had had the same arm and both legs broken before.
