Theresa "Terri" Thomas

Terri Thomas, 43, of Neillsville, died Tuesday, July 15, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Theresa Marie Thomas was born on the Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois on Tuesday, January 12, 1960., the daughter of Walter and Mary (Hollman) Simboli. In 1977, when walter retired from the Air Force, they moved to Greenwood, where she graduated from Greenwood High School.

On June 14, 1985 she was united in marriage to Randy Thomas in Greenwood at the United Methodist Church. After their marriage, she was very dedicated to raising their family. In 1997 she went to work for her husband's business, Thomas Technical Services, in Neillsville as both the secretary and the treasurer.

Terri loved life and and had a great interest in flowers and decorating for the holidays. She also enjoyed reading novels and going to auctions. Terri's real love was bowling. She was a member of many bowling teams and was active in the Women's Bowling Leagues, both in Neillsville and at the national level.

Terri is survived by her husband randy and four children; Cassandra, Desiree, Mike, and Jerry; She is also survived by her parents, Walter and Marie Simboli of Greenwood, and two sisters, Angela Simboli of Wausau, Lisa (Kevin) Ritter of LaCrosse, and one brother Anthony (Sara) Simboli of Greenwood.

Funeral serices for Terri were held Saturday, July 19, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Craig Conklin officiated and music was provided by Lisa Ritter, soloist and guitarist.

Casket bearers will be Terry Foss, Jerry Gross, Terry Marty, Verlyn Rollins, Tony Simboli, and Scott Tews. ============================ Wednesday, July 23, 2003 edition of the Tribune - Record - Gleaner

The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family with arrangements.
