Lucille VanGorden

Memorial services for Lucille A. VanGorden, 73, were to be held today (Thursday, March 25) at 1:30 p.m. at the Neillsville United Church of Christ with the Rev. Gary Clark officiating. No visitations were to be held.

Mrs. VanGorden, who made her home at 211 Grand Avenue, Neillsville, passed away on Sunday evening, March 21, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

The deceased was born on October 27, 1908 in South Wayne to Robert and Anna (Ablie) Linder. On June 15, 1929 she married Kenneth VanGorden in Winona, Minnesota, ceremonies.

Mrs. VanGorden is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Patricia) Wasserburger of Neillsville, Mrs. Richard (Bonita) Ross of Watersmeet, Michigan, and Mrs. Albert (Nellie) Trost of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and four sisters, Elsie Linder and Hedwig Krueger, both of West Bend, Frieda Linder of Whitehall, and Alvina Skaar of Alma Center. Joining them are five brothers, Edward Linder of Wautoma, Robert Linder of Merrillan, John Linder of Cedarville, Illinois, Clarence Linder of Hartford, and Arthur Linder of St. Paul, Minnesota; plus seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband (August 11, 1963) and one brother.
