Obituary

Funeral Services with Requiem Mass were held on Thursday morning April 16 at 9 o'clock for Mrs. Anna Margaret Hanson, aged 86 years, who passed to her eternal reward on Tuesday morning, April 14, 1942. Very Rev. E. C. O'Neill, C.Ss.R., offered up the Mass.

Mrs. Hanson ws the oldest pioneer parishioner of Holy Redeeme, having been here when the parish was founded in 1906. Her husband, Jacob Henry Hanson, preceded her in death 11 years ago. She was the beloved mother of Mrs. Anna Mueller, Mrs. Emma Christen, Mrs. Elsie Lillegard, Fred C. Hanson, Frank J. Hanson and the late Mrs. Clara Ryan. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Deepest sympathy is extended the bereaved families by a large circle of friends.

Interment was in Mt. Calvary cemetery.

A Requiem High Mass requested by the Altar society of which society Mrs. Hanson was a charter member, will be offered for the repose of her soul Monday morning, April 20, at 8:15. R.I.P.

***Family Note: Anna Margret Riplinger Hanson was the daughter of Friedrich & Margarethe (Pinter) Riplinger who are both buried in Loyal, Clark County, Wisconsin. Anna was born April 29, 1855, in Budingen Germany. Her siblings were: Frank, John Benjamin, Margret Riplinger.
