Bennett, daughter of Fred Bennett of Unity, Wis., was married to
Mr. Fred E. Brandt, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Brandt of Withee,
Clark County, Wis., Saturday, June 16, 1928, at 2:00 o'clock p.m.,
at the Withee Evangelical Lutheran Parsonage, Rev. O. Hoffman
performing the marriage ceremony. Viola S. Brandt acted as
bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Gilbert A. Meyer. The bride was
attired in a beautiful dress of beige georgette and cream lace and
carried a bouquet of roses and carnations. The bridesmaid wore a
dress of two-tone Grecian rose and carried a bouquet of roses and
sweet peas. Immediately after
the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the groom's
home, where a wedding reception was held, the home being
artistically decorated with tan and rose crepe paper and flowers
for the occasion. After July first, the young couple will be at
home on the groom's farm west of Withee. The groom has been
