(Marriage - 18 Augl 1927) Miss Alice Hein,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Hein, and Louis Mielke, SON OF Mr.
and Mrs. August Meilke, Rib Lake, Wis., were married last Thursday,
Aug. 18, 1927, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. Kirchhoefer
reading the marriage ceremony. Gertrude Beyreis acted as bridesmaid
and Elsie Mielke maid of honor. The groom was attended by Fred
Mielke and Clarence Hein. The bride wore a
beautiful dress of white satin faced crepe trimmed with lace and
carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid was
attired in a dress of yellow flat crepe and carried a bouquet of
tulips and roses. The maid of honor wore a dress of yellow
georgette and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet pears. Immediately after
the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the home of the
bride's parents, where a wedding reception was held, the home being
nicely decorated in white and yellow for the occasion. The evening
was spent at dancing and playing cards. At Rib Lake, a free wedding
dance was given. The young couple
will make their home on the groom's farm at Rib Lake. Those from out of
town here for the wedding were: Charles Beyreis and family, Wausau;
Kurt Beyreis and family, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Meilke, Fond
du Lac; Clarence Spurderman, Milwaukee; Fred Mielke, Milwaukee;
August Mielke, Milwaukee; Miss Gertrude Feldbrugge, Milwaukee;
Elsie Feldbrugge, Virginia, Minn.; Mrs. Stephensen, Medford; Albert
Knopps and family, rib Lake; Louis Kutzke and son, Norman, Rib
Lake; Miss Anna Siedle, Rib Lake; William Fitzlaff, Rib Lake; Mr.
and Mrs. August Mielke and son, Carl, Rib Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Feldbrugge and children, Dorchester. The bride has many
friends in this vicinity and the groom has many in Rib Lake who
