Heintz, Irma D. (Marriage - 5 Augl 1926)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized this Thursday morning, Aug. 5, 1926, at 11:00 o'clock, when Miss Irma Dorthea Heintz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Heintz, became the bride of John W. Coates, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Coates of Fredericksburg, Iowa. Rev. A. V. Ingham, pastor of the M. E. Church of Marshfield, pronounced the ceremony in a most impressive manner. Myrtle Coates of Tomahawk, Wis., acted as maid of honor and the groom was attended by Martin Tyler, also of Tomahawk.

The bride was beautifully attired in a tailored frock of Persian rose flat crepe and carried a shower bouquet of snapdragons and roses. The maid of honor wore a dress of powder blue and georgette and carried an arm bouquet of sweet peas and of snapdragons.

After the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the Hotel Charles, Marshfield, where at twelve o'clock, a wedding breakfast was served. After breakfast, the newly married couple left on a motor trip to Iowa and Minnesota. They expect to spend ten days on their trip.

The couple will be at home after September 1st, 1926, at Rivervale Farm, Colby, Wis., the groom being employed as patrolman on Highway 16.

The bride and groom have many friends in Colby and vicinity who extend congratulations and best wishes as they embark on life's voyage together.
