Burtard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Burtard, was married to
Albert Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Smith, June 30, 1926, at
Colby, Wis., Frank Firnstahl reading the marriage ceremony. Elsie
Nicks acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by John
Burtard, Jr. The bride was
beautifully dressed in blond romain crepe with gold and carried a
bouquet of roses. The bridesmaid was attired in a dress of old rose
and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. A wedding
reception was given at the home of the bride's parents, the home
being prettily decorated with flowers and streamers for the
occasion. A free wedding dance was given in the evening. The newlyweds will
be at home at Owen, Clark County, Wis., where the groom is
employed. The bride is well
and favorably known to many in Colby, as she attended high school
her, graduating in 1922. All their friends extend congratulations
