(Marriage - 3 Feb 1926) A very pretty
wedding was solemnized at Romeo Wednesday, Feb. 3, when Miss Rose
Sommer, daughter of Mrs. Bruno Sommer, southeast of Colby, Wis.,
became the bride of Reinhold Schroeder, of Romeo. Rev. Ziehlsdorff
was the officiating clergyman who tied the knot. Ruth Ziehlsdorff
acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Henry Sommer. The bride was
beautifully dressed in a silk satin faced crepe dress and carried a
bouquet of pink carnations and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid
carried a bouquet of carnations and sweet peas. Immediately after
the marriage, the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's
mother, where a wedding reception was held, after which they went
to the Lukowicz Studio at Colby, where they had their pictures
taken. The newly married
couple left on a wedding trip to the southern part of the state and
will be at home to their many friends after March 1st on the
groom's farm at Romeo. Both the bride and
groom have a host of friends who wish them a long and happy married
life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
